The Adderley School for the Performing Arts was created 15 years ago to teach children how to stand confidently in the world. Since its inception, thousands of toddlers, kids and teenagers have found a passion for musical theater and a belief in their own abilities. Janet Adderley, owner and creative director, created this amazing place of adventure, learning, and joy in an attempt to teach her shy, young daughter how to be heard. The result can be seen daily in the extraordinary performer and choreographer Alana Adderley, who not only found her way, but now shows others the path. Janet, a highly accomplished artist and instructor herself has assembled an incredible staff of musical directors, choreographers, voice coaches and accompanists in both Adderley School locations. Each semester children, ages 4-17, grace the stages of Southern California thanks to the Adderley School.
