Kasey Christel - PP

Originally from Washington State, Kasey recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Musical Theatre. As a singer/dancer/actor she has performed in many shows.

Favorite roles include: Liesl in The Sound of Music , Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes , Chava in Fiddler on the Roof , Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker , as well as roles in West Side Story, Guys and Dolls , The Secret Garden, Jeykll & Hyde, Annie Get Your Gun, Gypsy, and many more.

In addition to performing in musicals, Kasey enjoys sitting behind the piano! She's musically directed Godspell and A Christmas Carol , and accompanied various one act musicals, classes, auditions and lessons at UNC. Kasey is very excited to a part of the Adderley School staff!


Smith "Chip" Williams - PP

Known by everyone as Chip. He is a native of Birmingham , Alabama , where he attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts. He completed undergraduate and graduate studies in piano performance at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh where he studied with Ralph Zitterbart and Sergey Schepkin. While at Carnegie Mellon he completed certification in Piano Pedagogy and began teaching private lessons to young students through the school's Preparatory program. Chip has also been on the staff of the CMU School of Music's Pre-College program as a Voice Coach/Accompanist for the last 4 summers. Last year he was appointed as the Resident Music Director with the Stage Right School of Performing Arts and Theater Company in Greensburg , Pennsylvania where he got to work with students of all ages in preparing student and professional company productions. Chip just moved out to L.A. in August and loves the weather.


Robert Sprayberry - PP

Robert received his post graduate degree in advanced composition and conducting from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, England. While he was overseas he also studied privately with the renowned Nadia Boulanger in Paris, France.

Robert lived in New York City where he was the musical director for Grammy and Tony Award winning composer/playwright Rupert Holmes, toured as keyboardist for legendary R&B singer Chaka Kahn and worked as musical director and pianist at Catch A Rising Star.

He has written music for film, TV, theatre and modern dance. He scored the TV series INVISIBLE MAN, MYSTERIES FROM BEYOND THE OTHER DOMINION and Remember WENN. In theatre he has written music for over 50 productions worldwide; several of which were at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey where he first met Nagle Jackson.

His scores for modern dance have been performed both nationally and internationally. He was a resident composer for the AMERICAN DANCE FESTIVAL in Durham, North Carolina for 3 years and a contributing composer for the YARD Dance Troop in Martha's Vineyard. His work received 9 Bessie Award Nominations and was funded numerous times by the Meet The Composer Foundation out of Boston, MA.

Robert was the musical director and conductor for the West Coast Premiere of the Tony Award winning RENT and the subsequent National Broadway tour.


Alana Adderley - PP/SB

Alana Adderley.  Alana has been a part of the Adderley School since it’s inception in 1991.  She started teaching at the school shortly thereafter later and has done so ever since!  Alana is the go-to girl – she’s a singer, dancer, actor, director, choreographer and mentor.  She’s performed in many musicals, some highlights include: Grizabella in “Cats”, Lily St. Regis in “Annie”, Rizzo in “Grease”, Velma in “Chicago” and Adelaide in “Guys and Dolls”.


Ginger Broussard - PP

Ginger Broussard.  Before moving to Los Angeles, Ginger was the owner and director of Company One Dance Studio in Baton Rouge, LA for five years.  In 1998 she became the coach and choreographer for the Louisana State University Tiger Girls, where, in their first year, they won the Universal Dance Association National Championship.  Ginger has danced for twenty-five years and has studied ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and musical theatre.  She has toured extensively throughout the country and taught master classes for over ten years.  Her work has been performed from Oahu, Hawaii to Cannes, France and many places in between.  Her choreography continues to win national titles for several dance studios in the south.  She has choreographed for and performed in Dancescape, a benefit helping art and music programs around Los Angeles.


Maria Alfieri - SB

Maria Alfieri comes to us from New York City , where she performed professional Ballet and Musical Theatre dance for 13 years. She has studied extensively with such master teachers as Madame Gabriele Darvash, Gregory Hines, David Howard, Chris Chadman, Chet Walker, and Frank Hatchett. Her credits include ensemble and lead roles in Repertory Theater, Regional Ballet Companies, Opera Ballet Troupes, European Tours, Royal Cruise Lines, Cunard World Cruises, Walt Disney World Productions and Tokyo Disneyland. Memorable roles include “Louise” in Carousel , “Bebe” in A Chorus Line and “Anybody's” in West Side Story .

In 2003 and 2004, Maria's full-length choreography of The Music Man and Anything Goes earned a MACY Award for Excellence among high school musicals in Southern California . Most of all, Maria is grateful for the opportunity to work with the talented students and teachers here at The Adderley School.
